Pamphlet design research

I have been looking at the examples of pamphlets for inspirations. I have looked on Pinterest and here is just few of my favourites.

I am working with coloured photographs and I wanted to use colour and this research gave me few good ideas on how to make it work and  I will talk about in the next blog where I put my ideas into the test.

I have then done some more research on how I would like to fold my pamphlet.

Originally I wanted the images to be in landscape position but then I came across this example and immediately saw that would work great for me.

What I like about it is that the fold has that extra page which is kind of hidden as you need to unfold the whole pamphlet to see it. That would work great with my pamphlet as  the title is “Hidden Killer” or “Silent killer”.

What I am tempted to do is have my title laser cut as I really like how it looks. I will have to get advice from one of the tutors as I know that laser cutting on paper can be tricky. Also I believe that would go well with the whole concept.

When it comes to informative part of my pamphlet I will use the information from the leaflet I received from a police officer who had a stall set up outside the Chelsea Town Hall so as I have reliable information.

Let’s crack on with work…
