“The power to achieve” continuation

This is a continuation for my animation for Microsoft Surface project The power to achieve . I have finally cracked on with recording the main character: myself. It was absolute fun because I could combine my two favourites: acting and animating. At the same time it was really hard work and obviously encountered many obstacles.

One main one was that I haven’t realised that my green screen is quite small, even for a tiny person like me. It has limited the movements I could do like no high jumping etc.

But for close up scenes it was okey

There was few technical difficulties that made me laugh.

Yes man

Adding rotation was crucial otherwise I look like a snail.

Few scenes were difficult to record on my own as it involved laying down. I have tried many different ways such as:

DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME

Thanks to the live shooting more I could control the camera with my phone but unfortunately it didn’t work in a shooting mode. What a shame. I just had to try and recreate some scenes standing up.

Because I couldn’t make a jump like I needed for this scene I had to try and record two separate scenes and through a transition connect it together. Those are the parts that will take a lot of editing.

Here is few scenes that I have edited already. There is still plenty of work to do but when you do something you enjoy it doesn’t feel like a chore.

Things also go wrong and very wrong but there is a lot of behind the scene aspects that people won’t know about and it is quite extensive to write in every detail.

Enjoy!!!!
